PCB Industrial Safety Lecture

Stay up-to-date with the latest safety information to ensure employees’ life safety

The Taiwan Printed Circuit Association always focuses on the intrinsic safety issue of the mechanical equipment in the industry. Since the publication of Item 2, Article 5 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act in Taiwan, to promote the awareness of the intrinsic safety and urge the industry to perform the risk assessment, various safety standard documents have been established from 2015. For dedicated equipment, two documents are developed for the industrial oven and electroplating technology. Given that the industry is moving toward Industry 4.0, the industrial robots and automation manufacturing processes have been developing rapidly, and the awareness of prevention of workplace musculoskeletal injuries is increasingly rising. We, therefore, work with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and for the two topics, invited Chih-I, Cheng, Senior Project Manager at TÜV Rheinland and Professor Yen-Hui Lin of Chung Shan Medical University to give lectures on industrial robots and musculoskeletal disorders prevention, respectively. They will explain these profound topics in simple language which will help related departments of companies focus on the changes and understand safety-related requirements as well as prevention methods. We welcome the industrial safety staff to attend this lecture and exchange opinions with peers.
