Combining Nikon’s advanced optical technology with automated measurement functions and versatile illumination options, the VMZ-R Series is well suited for precision components, electronic parts, PCBs, semiconductor applications, and a wide range of industrial products. **High-Precision and High-Speed CNC Measurement** The VMZ-R Series combines CNC automated control with advanced video measurement technology to perform precise dimensional, positional, and geometrical measurements. Automated measurement routines reduce repetitive manual operations while improving inspection efficiency and measurement consistency, making the system suitable for R&D, quality control, and production environments. **Advanced Laser System for Expanded Measurement Capability** In addition to conventional video focusing, the VMZ-R Series supports laser focusing and laser scanning. Its advanced laser sensor can measure both the top and bottom surfaces of transparent films, enabling film thickness measurement. This expands the system’s capabilities beyond conventional XY dimensional inspection to include height, surface, and thickness measurement applications. **Multi-Angle LED Illumination for Enhanced Edge Detection** The system features surface, transmitted, and ring illumination using LED light sources. The ring illumination provides three different illumination angles and eight directional lighting options. Multiple calculation methods are available, allowing users to select an appropriate analysis method according to inspection standards and specific measurement requirements. **Direct Comparison of Nominal and Measured Geometry** Nominal geometry and tolerance values can be defined and directly compared with actual measurement results. Deviations and out-of-tolerance areas can be displayed graphically, enabling users to quickly identify potential abnormalities. Reference geometry can also be created from CAD data or XYZ coordinates, allowing existing design data to be incorporated into the measurement workflow. **Intuitive Operation and Flexible Data Output** The software features a clear and intuitive interface designed to simplify measurement programming and operation. Measurement and contour data can be exported in CSV or DXF formats, while comparison results can be generated as PDF reports for further analysis, quality documentation, and information sharing.
